HENDERSONVILLE — Claude O. Honeycutt, 55, of Hendersonville, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 9, 2013, at Pardee Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born on Feb. 23, 1957, to Ruth Honeycutt and her late husband, Ed Honeycutt. Claude was a very devoted Christian and believed in his faith wholeheartedly. His strenth and courage was an inspiration to us all. He was a loving husband, father, son, and grandfather. When he loved, it was with all of his heart.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Linda (Brenda) June; his daughter, Jeannie Honeycutt; three stepsons, John Cantrell, Christopher Stevenson and Robert Stevenson; his mother, Ruth Pruitt Honeycutt; his brother, Harley Honeycutt, and eight grandchildren.
Claude will be sadly missed by each and everyone who knew him.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 13, at Beula Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Blackwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m., Saturday, at South Park Funeral Service.
