SALUDA — Diane C. Bedoian, 74, of Saluda, passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at her residence.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., to the late John Marse and Agnes Marse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce and brother, Jerry.
She lived and raised her family in Lowell, Ind., for 30 years before moving to Saluda, NC in 1996. She had a love for being outdoors in her garden and worked part time for 15 years at the Gardner’s Cottage in Saluda. She was also very artistic, enjoyed knitting, painting and making crafts. Also, she was an avid golfer.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Peter Bedoian; son, Michael Bedoian, and his wife, Shanda; daughter, Susan Gavin, and her husband, Bill; Sharon Wagner, and her husband, Jeff; Laura Langen, and her husband, Doug; grandchildren, Jacquelyn Jeanes, and her husband, Zach, Nicholas Williams, Steven Wagner, Micayla Bedoian, Jenna Langen, Alyssa Wagner, Cyrena Bedoian.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at Immaculate Conception Catholic church with Father Robert Williams officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the St. Francis room.
